On The Inside is Tucson singer-songwriter Melanie Morrison’s newly released CD of brand-spanking new songs. It’s kind of indie-pop with a little touch of twang. If you like Shawn Colvin, Lucinda Williams, and Joni Mitchell, you should give a listen. The staff at Bookman’s says it’s reminiscent of Everybody, But The Girl. You decide and let us know!

Some of Arizona’s finest musicians are featured including the core band of Ed DeLucia (lead guitar), Sabra Faulk (bass and background vocals), and Ralph Gilmore (drums and percussion). Lisa Otey (background vocals and Hammond organ), Rochelle Raya (harmonica), Derek Hanslep (background vocals) and Fred Forney (trumpet & flugelhorn), also joined in on the project.

All proceeds from CD sales will go to help homeless families become self-sufficient. New Beginnings for Women and Children in Tucson, AZ is the prime beneficiary of the project.
